Nabta began in 2019 as three blends made on a kitchen table in Weibdeh and sold at a Friday market.

Our founder, Dana Qasem, trained as a pharmacist and then spent six years formulating for bigger beauty brands. She left in 2018, wanting to make products with fewer ingredients and higher concentrations of the ones that work.
Nabta started as a few blends she mixed for friends with reactive skin. By the end of the first year those friends had sent over two hundred people to the market stall, and Dana signed her first stockist.
There are six of us now, and everything is still blended, filled and labelled in the Weibdeh studio.
If an ingredient isn't pulling its weight, it doesn't go in. Most of our bottles list under twelve things, and we can tell you what each one does.
We make a few hundred at a time and date every bottle. Fresher actives, and nothing sitting in a warehouse for two years going quietly stale.
Rose water from Deir Alla, olive oil from Ajloun, prickly pear from Madaba. For everything else we keep the harvest date and supplier certificate on file for each batch.
What you smell comes from the botanicals themselves. Nothing in the range contains synthetic perfume.
First three blends sold at the Friday market in Weibdeh. Forty bottles, sold out by noon.
Signed the lease on the studio and its little storefront. Started distilling Damask rose with a grower near the Jordan Valley.
Reached fifteen stockists across Amman, Madaba and Aqaba. Launched refills at the studio: bring back a bottle and get 3 JD off.
Six people, eight products and about 1,200 bottles a month.
The storefront in Jabal Al Weibdeh is open Tuesday to Saturday. Try testers, get advice on your skin, and refill your empty bottles.
